Idaere Gogo Ogan | Chairman

Mr. Idaere Ogan is a graduate of Economics from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and holds a Masters Degree (MBA) in International Finance from Middlesex University, London (1993).

Mr. Ogan started his professional career as a banker with AllstatesTrust Bank in 1994. In 1996, he left Allstates Trust Bank to join the Corporate Banking Department of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC (GTBank).

In 1998, he left GTBank to start Calvary Group, Incorporating Becca Petroleum & Gas Nigeria Limited, Cordero Engineering Services Limited and Valuestream Investment Limited.

A member, Institute of Directors of Nigeria which is an affiliate of Institute of Directors United Kingdom, Mr. Ogan sits on several Boards as Director and Chairman. He is Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of Marina Securities Limited; Director of STACO Insurance PLC and also chairs its Board Finance & Investment Committee. Mr. Ogan is a Ranking Member, Shareholders� Audit Committee of Access Bank PLC; Director of Eastern Bulkcem Company Limited (Eagle Cement) and Chairman Board of Directors of United Securities Limited (USL).

Mr. Ogan has attended several Local and International executive management programmes in Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School and Wharton School of Business. 

Victoria Oso Adefala | Non Executive Director

Mrs Adefala, a founding partner of WhitGiftLaw Solicitors, is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She holds a Master of Laws in International Transactions from the University of Houston Bates Law School, Houston Texas, USA.

She was on a leave of absence from the law firm following her appointment as Nigeria Country President and Global Power Sales Director, for French Power and Transport Conglomerate, ALSTOM Group. Mrs Adefala is also a Director on the Board of the Franco Nigerian Chamber of Commerce (FNCCI).

Following her voluntary exit from Alstom Group in January 2016 (after nearly 8 years), she has returned to WhitgiftLaw as Managing Partner.

Seyi Owoturo | Chief Executive Officer

Before his appointment as CEO of USL, Mr. Owoturo was in the employment of Hamilton Hammer & Co ("HH") which he joined in December 2002 as Financial Controller. He worked with F&C Securities Ltd. as Head, MIS. Prior to joining F&C Securities, he was Head, Accounts/Risk Asset and Business Development Unit of Venture Capital Partners Limited.

A 1991 graduate of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Chartered Accountant, Mr. Owoturo has first-rate experience working with IT professionals having been involved in design and implementation of a number of tailored IT solutions. Seyi
is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (FCMR).


Mr. Owoturo served as a volunteer consultant to the Fate Foundation, an NGO committed to developing entrepreneurial skills in Nigerian youth.
